Buildfix was contacted by a fellow contractor to help with a cavity flashing problem. As the contractor was working to remove the brickwork to replace the cavity flashing, he noticed a problem with the internal corner and development of a crack at the corner.

The picture above gives some idea of the load above and importance of getting the structural aspect correct.

The helical beams installed bridging the corner to allow access for remedial works.

The picture below shows the cemtie system at work repairing the brick cracking further up the wall.
