As the current COVID-19 outbreak continues to grow, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority. A such we have now implemented a plan to minimise the disruptions to our day-to-day operations.
Office
Business will continue as normal in the office until further notice. We’re closely monitoring the situation and will update all Buildfix employees if any changes are made.
Plans are already in place if office staff need to self-isolate.
Engineers & Technicians
For the safety of our employees and customers, we ask you to arrange for hand sanitizer and wipes to be available on site. These expenses can be claimed on your time sheet.
For the safety of all, we are also proposing that, wherever possible, keep direct contact with customers at a minimum.
When on site, if you do cough or sneeze, please remember to cover your nose or mouth with a tissue or your elbow — not your hand — and discard the tissue immediately after.
Stay home if we are sick
If you experience cold, flu-like symptoms, or simply a running nose, please stay home. The coronavirus produces cold-like symptoms in 80% of infected individuals, it’s important to remain at home when ill regardless of how mild your symptoms are. If you have a fever over 37.2 degrees Celsius or have had contact with someone believed to be infected, please contact the office immediately.
